October was a very exciting month for Senior Infants as we continued our Aistear journey from the busy school to the Witches Den! We loved playing in role as witches and wizards creating mystical potions and mischievous spells to cast upon our classmates!
We worked so well with our groups in our celebration of Maths Week this October. We created patterns, used the tablets to show off our addition skills and even got to use pumpkins to practice our estimation stills!
We enjoyed an autumn hunt outdoors to see how many signs of this beautiful colourful season we could find, we were so lucky that our investigation didn't take too long as there were several signs of autumn on our school grounds. We created squirrels and hedgehogs to celebrate this lovely season.
We tooks some time to slow down and be mindful too, we enjoyed some yoga practice and meditation in our lovely classroom.
