All of the Collon N.S. Community bid a bittersweet farewell to three of our most valued staff members on Friday, the 16th of October. We were delighted to be able to finally mark the retirement of our long serving SNA Mrs. Catherine Grimes, our hard working caretaker Johnny King and our angel behind the scenes Pat Smyth, our marvelous and caring cleaner.
Although COVID-19 restrictions didn't allow for the send off we would have liked to give our terrific trio, thankfully the weather played ball, and we had a lovely ceremony in our yard, where members of our pupils, staff, Board of Management and Parents Association were all in attendance to express our deepest gratitude. We wish Catherine, Pat and Johnny every good wish, health and happiness as they enter their Golden Years. Go raibh míle maith agaibh,
