Rang a Dó are off to a great start this year in 2020! We having been busy with several themes including the Chinese New Year, Habitats (including current news of wildlife struggling in their habitats due to current bushfires in Australia), our hobbies, sinking and floating, water conservation, Catholic Schools Week and much more!
We even returned our focus and practice on yoga this month too when the weather kept us indoors :) We really impressed our teacher with a handwriting competition - we all took part and two winners were picked for outstanding effort and presentation. Congratulations Emily and Daire!
We were also delighted to welcome the students of Junior Infants to our class and to visit theirs for our 'Reading Buddies' time. We modelled our excellent reading skills to the Junior Infants and were amazed at the reading skills they have already. We are looking forward to continuing this!
