Throughout the year each class get six weeks of Power Hour. During that hour 3 teachers are in the room and the student move around the room completing tasks at each table. Sometimes there are 4 tasks and sometimes there are 5. The students complete lots of hands-on activities for Math's with a particular focus on the 'Number' strand. Earlier on in the year the students worked on Halloween themed activities. There is a maths game as a warm up and then usually 10 minutes at each station. It is lots of fun and the students are actively engaged in their learning.
